“It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine…” The Notorious B.I.G. famously rapped these lyrics into American pop culture in his first verse on his first single. Defining an era and becoming a hip-hop legend. The song titled “Juicy” is one of my all-time favorite tracks.
Let me offer up my own dream that began with a thought, many years ago. Back when I used to read Fortune magazine.
Finn Wealth Advisors is a division of Secure Planning Inc. created in Portsmouth, NH with intention to speak to our audience, professional athletes who need investment advisory services for their signing bonuses and contracts. We also welcome their family, friends, and anyone else who stumbles across our brand. I hope you find something of worth and value. I ask that you don’t keep us a secret.
I’m going to paint pictures using my words and deliver thoughts on the following topics money, investments, economics, finance, sports, current world events, and pop culture. I won’t play too much in the political mud.
This blog is in no way the investment holy grail. Go climb Mount Everest if you are in search of that. I do not claim to have all the answers. Though there will be times when I put on my handicappers’ hat to forecast our economic weather. Which is only my point of view in the moment. I will not tell you what you should or shouldn’t be invested in (you must become a client for that).
I will engage with you in my own authentic way and keep it fresh. This is the profession I grew up in fumbling papers beginning in the Summer of 2000 as a teenage intern. Since that time, I’ve developed as a professional by keeping my head down, mouth shut and working hard on my craft. This focus has allowed me the opportunity to build a successful investment practice. As the years continue to come at me like 98mph fastballs, my passion intensifies, but now I get to share my voice with you. The first piece of wisdom about our industry is the following. We all don’t look at investments and give advice under the same umbrella. We have different thoughts, opinions, views, and backgrounds that influence us as investment professionals.
